I’ve made a mistake showing e-books before. I’ve written chapters like blog posts and assume potential clients will get them. But they don’t. So show blog posts if they ask for sample blog posts.

Professional Copywriters are always on the lookout for marketing trends. You should find ways to keep listening to what people are talking about.
For example in the IT industry. If people are talking about Cyber Security threats, you should know what they fear. If they fear a new malware, then write about it and post it on a blog. Share it with your IT contacts to let them know you are up to date.
If other copywriters are talking about the use of AI as an aid to their profession, talk about it. You can download a trial copy of any AI software and write about it.
On a consumer level, if people are talking about the greatest and latest phones, write about it. The list goes on. You know what I mean.
The money is in the market. So don’t stop listening to trends.
